Accessibility
Last reviewed October 13, 2026
Calverda LLC wants Wendlow and this website to work for everyone, including people who use a screen reader, larger text, a keyboard or reduced motion. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
This website
- Every page was checked against WCAG 2.2 AA with the axe accessibility engine, in light and dark mode and at phone and desktop sizes, with no issues found on October 13, 2026.
- Every link and control can be reached with a keyboard and shows a visible focus outline. Each page starts with a link that skips to the main content.
- Text and controls meet WCAG contrast ratios, links within text are underlined, and the site follows your device’s light or dark setting.
- App screenshots have text descriptions, and the sample calendar on the home page is described as a whole for screen readers.
- The site’s one animation is switched off when your device is set to reduce motion.
- The standard drink calculator has labeled fields, and its results are announced to screen readers as they change.
The Wendlow app
- Figures are read out by VoiceOver in full, with their period, target and trend, rather than as separate numbers.
- Charts support Audio Graphs, so VoiceOver users can explore the data by sound.
- Text follows your Dynamic Type size, including the largest accessibility sizes.
- Animations are turned off when Reduce Motion is on.
- Status is never shown by color alone: labels and values appear alongside it.
Known limitations
The screenshots on this website are pictures of the app. Their descriptions summarize what each screen shows, but not every number on it. The app itself presents the same information to VoiceOver directly.
